Andrew and Maddie's Engagement Session

Do you know what I love? Exploring the south coast with people who want their photo captured in beautiful locations. Andrew and Maddie traveled to Ben’s Walk on the Shoalhaven River for their engagement session. Engagement shoots are a great chance to get in front of the camera to celebrate the proposal without all the pressure of the big day. We had a lovely time exploring the bush track and we were lucky to have lots of privacy for the two to get some nice intimate shots. Congratulations guys on your engagement and see you at the wedding!

The King Family

I had a great afternoon catching up with the King family by the Shoalhaven River to udpate their family photos. We utilised the public boat ramp that overlooks the Nowra Bridge to take the majority of our pictures.

Thank you to Grace and her wonderful family who entrusted me to capture some beautiful memories on the south coast.

The Smith Family

I recently caught up with Cohen and Anna to capture some precious family moments at their home in Woodburn, NSW. I love taking portraits where people feel most comfortable so in the backyard was the perfect place for lots of natural candid moments. I once called the Smiths the happiest newlyweds, well after a couple of years the title has changed to the happiest family.

Sussex Inlet Family Session

I recently had the pleasure of photographing some newborn photos for Carly in Sussex Inlet as she has just welcomed little Brax into the world. She wanted her family photos taken outdoors so her older children could play and explore during the session. We had beautiful afternoon lighting and the whole place to ourselves. I was so pleased for them that they had beautiful weather and that we were able to capture lots of smiles and kids enjoying themselves.

Matt and Amanda's Como Wedding

After their heartfelt ceremony, they proceeded to their reception venue for a sophisticated evening. The couple made an energetic entrance into the space where all attention was focused on the newlyweds. The night was full of good food and great company. When Lachlan and Lauren decided to elope they knew that they wanted to tie the knot by the ocean, and where more beautiful than Gerrringong, NSW? With a love for the stunning coastline it made perfect sense to say “I do” with the beach as the backdrop.

For Lachlan and Lauren, getting married was an intimate celebration that they wanted to share with only their closest friends and family. They exchanged heartfelt vows and made promises of their future life together, that would soon include their baby.

The breathtaking surroundings served as the perfect canvas for capturing portraits of the newlyweds following the ceremony.

John and Rebecca’s winter wedding started with a clear vision—a picturesque farm property with adorable highland cows. Fortunately, they found the perfect venue in the southern highlands - Mali Brae. Their beautiful day became a dream that surpassed all of their expectations. With the help of their trusted team of vendors, they orchestrated a celebration filled with heartwarming nods to their love story, soulful live music, delicious comfort food, and memorable moments with their favourite people.

The ceremony was a storybook moment as the couple exchanged their vows outside the Cherry Tree Walk, with two colourful floral pillars framing a stunning backdrop of the property, enveloped by open fields. The magic continued at the reception, where vibrant florals and styling blended seamlessly with the rustic elegance of the venue.

From the very beginning, John and Rebecca were determined to celebrate their day keeping with tradition. The couple saw each other for the first time at the end of the aisle where Rebecca was given away by her father. The reception followed the portrait session and during the night they heard loving toasts, shared a sit-down meal and took to the dance floor after cutting their wedding cake.

Hazzy's Proposal to Dana in Kangaroo Valley

The time had come for Hazzy to pop the question to his partner Dana, so he planned a special trip to beautiful Kangaroo Valley. Hazzy had organised for me to arrive first to Wildwood where he had a gorgeous set up ready for Dana. I waited with my camera for the moment he got down on one knee with the ring before making myself known. Dana had a feeling that this may be the weekend for a proposal but she was still so surprised when the moment came. Without hesitation Dana said yes and the two are now happily engaged, congratulations guys!

Blenheim Beach with the Burton Family

Winter mornings are a great time to capture families on the south coast beaches as there isn’t a person in sight and we have the whole place to ourselves. I really enjoyed my recent session with the Burton family and it was so nice to have the grandparents there too. We met up at Blenheim Beach right after the rain stopped and it was perfect, here are the highlights.

Tom and Mikhaila's Shoalhaven Heads Wedding

Mikhaila and Tom had initially planned to have their wedding in the Shoalhaven Heads Botanical Gardens, as it is a beautiful space with lots of gorgeous native plants. However, everything changed when they realised the south coast was expecting a lot of rain on their wedding weekend. The couple quickly found a local alternative venue to tie the knot.

Mikhaila and Tom said “I do” at the Sholhaven Heads Community Hall, where they also exchanged rings, made heartfelt promises and shared a first kiss. As the rain began to clear they joined the bridal party for some portraits in Apex Park before heading off to the famous Berry Donut Van and then onto Gerringong.

The pair were determined to have a relaxed evening celebrating their marriage so they re-joined their friends and family at Gather for some delicious food and cocktails.

Considering the horrible forecast these two embraced the rain and enjoyed the day with smiles on their faces the whole time. Congratulations Tom and Mim and thank you for sharing the celebration with me!

Lachlan and Emma's Woods Farm Wedding

Lachlan and Emma dreamt of hosting a wedding on the south coast that was truly one-of-a-kind. Pulling inspiration from the magical world of The Woods Farm, their wedding was far from ordinary. It was all about creating a fun environment for their guests to celebrate.

Picture this: tying the knot on a private farm property in the heart of Jervis Bay. Lachlan and Emma said “I do” in a rustic bush chapel surrounded by towering trees and beautiful farmland. With floor to ceiling chandeliers and beautiful florals their ceremony was a fairytale come to life. After the pair exchanged heartfelt vows, they made their way back down the aisle where they shared a kiss, creating a very romantic exit.

The reception was equally magical, set in the wedding hall which was decorated beautifully to tie into the colour palette of the day. Their outdoor first dance made the night truly unforgettable.
