Brad and Bronte's Homestead Wedding

Brad and Bronte’s Homestead wedding felt like stepping into a real-life fairytale. The Federation Queen Anne-style farmhouse venue provided an absolutely stunning setting for their special day.

Imagine saying “I do” at a former dairy farm located at the entrance to the charming rural township of Berry in the NSW South Coast’s Shoalhaven region. No detail was overlooked with beautiful flowers everywhere and guests dressed to the nines.

During their courtyard ceremony, the newlyweds were surrounded by lots of greenery on the silo and they were framed by a lush floral arch which created a feast for the eyes as they exchanged their heartfelt vows.

The rain did not dampen their day, instead they embraced the weather with some umbrellas and set off for portraits around the property. The celebrations continued long into the night with a sit down reception in the charming Cow Shed. The room was adorned with tables featuring stunning centrepieces and ambient lighting. Completing the scene, sparkling chandeliers hung overhead, adding a touch of magic to the night.

Their day was made special by all the friends and family who were there to celebrant such an important day in the couples lives. Congratulations Brad and Bronte!

Matt and Ashleen's Engagement Shoot

When it comes to outdoor photo locations around the South Coast, Bombo Quarry is certainly up there with some of the most epic. With beautiful cliff faces that meet the shore and long pampas grass it offers so many options for our couples to explore. The winter months are great for an engagement session because the cool air gives our couples the perfect excuse to rug up in layers and get cosy. Matt and Ash wanted to get comfortable in front of the camera ahead of their Terara Riverside wedding so they met up with Kyle for some gorgeous portraits, here are the highlights.

Sam and Jennifer's Proposal at Merribee Gardens

I was so honoured to be asked to be part of Sam’s surprise proposal to Jennifer. Sam had organised Jennifer to visit the South Coast for a live illustration booking. Jennifer arrived at Merribee Gardens ready to work and to her surprise she discovered Sam was there with the ultimate gesture - a romantic marriage proposal. I had my camera ready as he got down on one knee and pulled out her beautiful ring, Jennifer said yes and jumped into his arms. It was such a special moment to document.

Congratulations Sam and Jennifer on your engagement and thank you for sharing such a special moment with me.

Ollie and Brooke's Milton Wedding

Ollie and Brooke’s Airlie House wedding was a uniquely vibrant celebration that we are so lucky to have had the pleasure to be part of. Brooke is a dear friend of ours so it meant so much to not only celebrate the marriage but also document the day.

Ollie and Brooke wanted to create a beautiful explosion of colour for their wedding, so the couple worked tirelessly to create so much of the signage and decor to execute the vision. They created a fun and relaxed day for their loved ones to enjoy.

Their wedding was held in beautiful Milton and the two tied the knot overlooking the gorgeous farmland which surrounds the venue. The bridesmaids wore bright coloured gowns which matched their beautiful bouquets while the groomsmen wore a more traditional fit, letting the ladies really steal the show.

One of the highlights of the wedding was the venue itself, Airlie House —a restored Victorian Homestead that sits upon the crest of a hill overlooking the town of Milton. The breathtaking house, the wrap around verandah, and gorgeous courtyard provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s sweet celebration.

Ollie and Brooke’s wedding celebration rolled seamlessly into the night where everyone enjoyed live music, delicious pizza and heartfelt speeches.

Congratulations Ollie an Brooke, what an incredible day!

Berry Blow Bar

Today I am sharing the highlights from a recent branding session with Berry Blow Bar. The session included a mix of stylist headshots, product images and some general lifestyle shots. I also spent some time photographing both the inside and outside of the salon which is conveniently located on Queen Street in Berry. As a wedding photographer I work alongside the talented ladies at Berry Blow Bar often as they glam up their brides.

Tara and Anthony's Woods Farm Wedding

Anthony and Tara were determined to celebrate their marriage in a fun and unique way. Instead of a typical function room wedding, they envisioned a wedstival style celebration spanning over two days. When the couple found The Woods Farm they knew it was the perfect place to tie the knot. They loved that the 40 acre country retreat could host all of their friends and family in the onsite cottages and glamping tents.

Set against the Jervis Bay bush, their picturesque farm wedding day was nothing short of magical. Breaking away from tradition, they curated a ceremony that was truly their own. They said “I do” in the bush chapel which features overhanging chandeliers and floor to ceiling mirrors.

They spent the afternoon with the bridal party exploring the properties grounds for some portraits and saying a quick hello to all the friendly farm animals.

Transitioning into the reception, a fun filled night unfolded. They enjoyed a family-style meal and free flowing drinks.

Every detail of their special day reflected their fun personalities and is definitely worth seeing. A big congratulations to Anthony and Tara on your nuptials!

Rob and Courtney's Bewong Wedding

Rob and Courtney had a special vision for their big day. They wanted to blend the unique charm of the Bewong bush with the cozy vibes of the riverbank bungalows. Rob and Courtney fell in love with the Bewong River Retreat and loved that the 160 acre property could host the ceremony, the reception and accomodate their guests. Courtney wore a black gown that perfectly contrasted the vibrant florals in her bouquet.

Imagine a secluded ceremony overlooking the Bewong River with a timber arbour decorated in gorgeous florals. After exchanging heartfelt vows, the newlyweds exited down the aisle where they shared another kiss, creating an unforgettable moment. The reception was equally enchanting, set amongst rolling lawns with the perfect bush outlook and tables matching the colour palette of the day.

While I could go on and on about this incredible wedding, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Congratulations Rob and Courtney!

Samuel and Jessica's Robertson Wedding

I’m so happy to share this Robertson elopement with you today.  While the wet weather definitely changed the initial plans for Samuel and Jessica, it also meant that these two had an incredibly intimate indoor ceremony that turned out just beautiful anyway.

This Robertson Hotel elopement was exactly what eloping is all about - pairing back the guest list and focusing on what’s important - the love between two people. For Samuel and Jessica, the priority was including their family in the wedding and spending time celebrating their marriage together.

The ceremony took place at the Robertson Hotel where both Samuel and Jessica exchanged their vows, rings and made promises of their future life together. After the newlyweds had signed the wedding register and shared their first kiss as husband and wife we drove out to a beautiful secluded location for some portraits. The rain had cleared in time for us to capture some amazing shots.

Congratulations Samuel and Jessica and thank you for sharing your day with me.

Guy and Lisa's Far Meadow Wedding

When Guy and Lisa were gearing up for their Far Meadow Cottage wedding, they had a simple goal: make it a memorable occasion for their beautiful little family. And guess what? They totally nailed it with the help of the Hoorah Events team. Picking the charming country property as their venue was just the beginning. Their choice of a garden celebration with a fresh colour palette took the romance to a whole new level.

Nestled in the serene Berry countryside, the pair chose to host their ceremony on the broad, wrap around verandah which protected their loved ones from the rain. They had views overlooking the estates gardens while they exchanged their rings and vows. Once married they joined everyone for a sit-down reception which was beautifully decorated with table florals and overhanging lights.

Bringing their loved ones together for such a special occasion was very important to Guy and Lisa, and they wanted the love they felt to shine through every moment of the celebration.

Nathaniel and Emma's Cupitt's Wedding

Nathaniel and Emma made the decision to tie the knot on the South Coast. They found the perfect venue in Ulladulla, Cupitt’s - a boutique winery that brings the the farm-to-table philosophy to life through craftsmanship, authentic hospitality, and the appreciation of the unique environment and community around them. I was so excited to be asked to document Nat and Emma’s wedding because they are two of the most down to earth people and their big day was so much fun.

The two spent the morning apart in the onsite luxurious villas before making their way to the restaurant for the intimate ceremony which had sweeping views of the surrounding vineyard and rolling hills. The ceremony space was decked out in soft flowers arranged by Kiruna Farm which sat beautifully against the wine barrels and stone building.

Meanwhile, the reception was complete with long family-style tables which were decorated with matching florals. With a classic menu, incredible scenery, and a modern colour palette, their special day was the epitome of South Coast dream come true–and we’re so thankful that we were invited to capture every detail.

Blake and Tyra's Cowley House Wedding

If this Wongawilli wedding is any indication, you definitely don’t need an official venue to have the wedding of your dreams! In fact, Blake and Tyra couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else but Cowley House, so Tyra put her creativity to good use and styled the Hamptons inspired homestead to create the space of her dreams.

The ceremony took place outside the beautiful country residence which is located at the foothills of the Illawarra escarpment. The space had been decorated with dried and silk florals which perfectly complimented the soft pinks in Tyras dress.

Blake and Tyra’s family and friends worked tirelessly to make their vision come to life, helping with everything from setting up the ceremony space to creating an alfresco reception area with matching florals and delicious cookie favours.

There were a few highlights from the day worth mentioning, the first look with the brides father and bridesmaids as well as the night photoshoot on the jetty which featured fireworks. The day was as much about Blake and Tyra’s love as it was about their love for family, with their children at the forefront of every social moment.

Congratulations Blake and Tyra, what a gorgeous celebration!

Adam and Victoria's Homestead Wedding

Adam and Vicky shared a vision for their south coast wedding: an intimate celebration infused with the colour palette of the Autumn season. They wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to planning every detail to tie in with the theme. The ultimate goal was to create a warm atmosphere, surrounded by their closest family and friends, who held a special place in their hearts. And their Homestead Berry wedding perfectly embodied this.

The couple exchanged their vows in the Saints Peter and Paul Church in a Catholic ceremony. Once married, they proceeded to their Berry venue for a sit-down reception. With bold floral arrangements and rustic decor, the Cow Shed had been transformed to match their distinct style.

Vicky showcased two distinct looks—a long white gown with a train for a classic touch during the church ceremony. Later, she changed into a short mini dress, ready to dance the night away in style.

Congratulations Vicky and Adam, what a beautiful celebration of love!

Scott and Eli's Briar's Wedding

Today I am sharing another beautiful wedding on the blog. Scott and Elli were married on the 26th of April at Briars, a historic Inn located in the Southern Highlands. This gallery is filled with the most gorgeous autumn colours; the burnt oranges, browns and yellows are all just so divine. The flowers, the gorgeous outdoor garden ceremony and the stunning reception area all go together to create this beautiful Autumn wedding. Congratulations Scott and Elli on your marriage, it was such an honour to capture your day.

Katie's Maternity Session

First time mum Katie contacted me early on in her pregnancy to arrange some maternity photos. She wanted a location with long grass for some natural portraits with her husband Aaron and I knew just the spot. We had a fun afternoon documenting this special time.

Congratulations Katie on the pregnancy and all the best with the birth!

The McCall Family

Earlier this month I caught up with the McCall’s to capture some family photos at the Nowra Showground. It was the perfect location for a shoot, with the beautiful views overlooking the Shoalhaven River. Wayne and Nerolee are such loving grandparents so it was nice to document this busy season of life.

Jess and Mark’s South Coast Wedding

Right from the beginning, Mark and Jess were determined to have a wedding that was uniquely theirs. They had one goal in mind, and that was to throw an incredible party with all of their favourite people. And they definitely succeeded! From the timeless florals and modern styling - their Woollamia wedding really was a magical affair.

Mark and Jess wanted to get married on a country property where their guests could spend the whole day celebrating. They were considerate in that they wanted everyone to enjoy themselves post ceremony and not have to drive between multiple locations. They instantly knew that Woollamia was the perfect blank canvas to add their personal touch.

For their ceremony, they said “I do” overlooking a gorgeous dam and surrounded by their loved ones. They spent the afternoon having portraits onsite right as the sun began to set. The reception was held in a beautiful marquee that had been decorated with classic florals. They wined and dined beneath the fairy lights that hung from the ceiling. And to top it all off, they ended the day with a spectacular tower of doughnuts.

Congratulations to Mark and Jess on your marriage, what a way to kickstart the next chapter in your life together.

Callala Family Session

A beach family portrait session is one of my favourite options for a family photo shoot. Especially on the South Coast with all these amazing stunning beaches we have on offer. I recently captured some natural photos for Tim and Emily with baby Kai in Callala. We had such a nice morning together and practically had the whole place to ourselves. Here are some of my favourites from the day.

Aaron and Tayla's Wedding

On the 20th of April Aaron and Tayla woke up in the townhouses right next to each other where they spent the morning getting ready with their own side of the bridal party. Once Tayla’s hair and makeup was finished and she was in her wedding dress she shared a really special moment with her mum and brother, a first look. We took some photos of the bridal party on the terrace before it was time to head off to the ceremony.

Due to the weather the ceremony was relocated to the indoors space at Panorama House. Outside the floor to ceiling glass windows for as far as the eye could see were white fluffy clouds, making the backdrop quite magical. Aaron and Tayla exchanged rings, personal vows and made promises of the life they will live together. At the conclusion of the ceremony they made their way back down the aisle where Aaron dipped his bride and kissed her all over again.

The afternoon was spent taking portraits along the coastline before joining their friends and family for a traditional sit-down reception where they shared their first meal as husband and wife. The night was spent laughing and dancing, what a beautiful celebration!

Congratulations Aaron and Tayla!

Cameron and Keely's Butter Factory Wedding

Cameron and Keely tied the knot on the 19th of April in a gorgeous garden ceremony at the Butter Factory in Pyree. They started the morning apart, both preparing for the day with their side of the bridal party. Once ready, Keely shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids before making her way to the venue where Cameron was eagerly awaiting her arrival.

The couple’s beautiful style set the tone for the day, beginning with their ceremony. They exchanged their “I dos” in a picturesque country setting with the surrounding farm land as their backdrop and stunning floral pillars framing the happy couple. As the evening progressed to the reception at the Buttery Factory Restaurant, the atmosphere was nothing short of amazing, with the soft glow of candlelights and beautiful floral tablescapes. They enjoyed a sit-down meal with their friends and family while they listened to the heartfelt toasts. The night ended with the couple surrounded on the dance floor.

Congratulations Cameron and Keely!

Hayden and Jessica's Proposal

Jervis Bay is one of my favourite locations for photo shoots across the South Coast. Year round the beaches along the coastline make the perfect backdrop with the gorgeous white sand and crystal clear waters.

A couple of months ago Hayden reached out to share his plans of proposing to his girlfriend Jessica. As a keen romantic I was quickly onboard to capture the special moment. I discreetly followed the couple enjoying a nice walk along Chinaman’s Beach where Hayden got down on one knee and popped the question, with a big smile on her face Jessica said “yes” and jumped into her fiance’s arms.

Congratulations to Hayden and Jessica on your engagement and thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special surprise.
