Chris and Megan were very clear in how they wanted to spend their wedding day. The idea of being whisked away for hours of posed portraits did not appeal to them, instead, they wanted to spend as much time with their friends and family as possible. Weddings are likely the only occasion in your life where you have the opportunity to gather everyone that means most to you and they really wanted to take advantage of that.
Knowing that spending time with everyone was the priority Chris and Megan chose a wedding venue in Berry, NSW that could host the ceremony and reception, so no time was lost going to and from different locations. The Homestead, is a gorgeous country property best known for its beautiful landscaped gardens and converted cowshed and silo. With the surrounding farmland as their backdrop the couple exchanged heartfelt vows and made promises of forever.
The reception was as a night to remember, the couple dined and danced while breaking bread with their special people. Chris and Megan’s wedding looked as beautiful as it felt, I was so happy to be asked to capture all the moments - big and small.
