Myles and Emma's Shoalhaven Heads Wedding

When Myles and Emma were planning their Shoalhaven Heads wedding, they aimed for something intimate and inviting. They wanted to bring their family and friends together and create a fun environment to celebrate their marriage. They loved the thought of a backyard wedding, somewhere sentimental, and what is more nostalgic than the grooms family home?

Myles and Emma couldn’t have picked a better spot to bring their vision to life. The couple tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony where guests were seated on hay bales, which added to the country charm. After the ceremony was over the bridal party joined Myles and Emma for some portraits in the Botanical Gardens. As the sun began to set the newlyweds returned to the reception for some hilarious toasts, heartfelt speeches and a delicious wedding cake.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a cozy backyard celebration surrounded only by your closest loved ones, let this event be your inspiration.

Ben and Tamara's Wedding

On the 8th of September Ben and Tamara held their wedding at the Nowra Golf Club. Their big day was a massive celebration of two families becoming one.

The day began with Ben and his groomsmen getting ready at home while Tamara and her bridesmaids spent the morning in Shoalhaven Heads having their hair and makeup professionally styled.

The ceremony was a beautiful part of the day. Ben and Tamara exchanged personal vows, rings and shared a first kiss. To conclude the ceremony the celebrant announced them as husband and wife and their friends and family lined the aisle as the newlyweds made their way onto the golf course covered in confetti.

After the portraits the bridal party made an energetic entrance into the reception. As I circled around the different tables and met Ben and Tamaras friends and family, I heard so many stories of how everyone knew the couple. While each story was different, everyone made the same comments about what great people Ben and Tamara are. The highlight of the evening was definitely the speeches which felt like an ad lib comedy show - someone would start the joke and someone else would deliver the punchline.

I was grateful to photograph this wedding because I felt genuine warmth and hospitality from both Ben and Tamara and it really was a celebration like no other. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Wellington!

Andrew and Maddie's Engagement Session

Do you know what I love? Exploring the south coast with people who want their photo captured in beautiful locations. Andrew and Maddie traveled to Ben’s Walk on the Shoalhaven River for their engagement session. Engagement shoots are a great chance to get in front of the camera to celebrate the proposal without all the pressure of the big day. We had a lovely time exploring the bush track and we were lucky to have lots of privacy for the two to get some nice intimate shots. Congratulations guys on your engagement and see you at the wedding!

The King Family

I had a great afternoon catching up with the King family by the Shoalhaven River to udpate their family photos. We utilised the public boat ramp that overlooks the Nowra Bridge to take the majority of our pictures.

Thank you to Grace and her wonderful family who entrusted me to capture some beautiful memories on the south coast.

The Smith Family

I recently caught up with Cohen and Anna to capture some precious family moments at their home in Woodburn, NSW. I love taking portraits where people feel most comfortable so in the backyard was the perfect place for lots of natural candid moments. I once called the Smiths the happiest newlyweds, well after a couple of years the title has changed to the happiest family.

Sussex Inlet Family Session

I recently had the pleasure of photographing some newborn photos for Carly in Sussex Inlet as she has just welcomed little Brax into the world. She wanted her family photos taken outdoors so her older children could play and explore during the session. We had beautiful afternoon lighting and the whole place to ourselves. I was so pleased for them that they had beautiful weather and that we were able to capture lots of smiles and kids enjoying themselves.
