Brendan and Sally's Kangaroo Valley Wedding

Having both grown up on the south coast, Brendan and Sally decided to tie the knot locally, in Kangaroo Valley. In the lead up to their big day the couple visited Tallowa Dam to see if it would make a suitable spot for the bridal portraits and they fell in love with the location. The dam holds a special place in the brides heart as her grandfather helped build it.

Brendan and Sally spent the morning of their wedding with the bridal party getting ready at Saddle Ridge, a beautiful Hamptons style homestead.

Picture this, an outdoor ceremony set on a 42 acre property with stunning views of nearby mountains and national park. The groomsmen arrived on push bikes while Sally was escorted down the aisle by her father. The couple exchanged heartfelt vows and rings before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife. Once married they joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen for some portraits around the property.

They kicked the night off in the marquee with a round of toasts from their loved ones. As the sun began to set they cut the cake and made their way onto the dance floor for the bridal waltz.

The whole wedding was a lot of fun to be part of, keep scrolling to see all the best bits from their day.

Wayde and Lexi's Canberra Wedding

Wayde and Lexi had a special vision for their big day. They wanted to blend the beauty of the outdoors with the charm of a modern chapel, so they chose to tie the knot at Gold Creek. They spent the morning apart, preparing for the day at Peppers in New Acton before making their way to the ceremony.

The ceremony was light hearted and had all their loved ones smiling the whole time. The highlight was when their son presented the rings to his parents before they were officially married. The ceremony was decorated with breathtaking floral arrangements that perfectly matched the bridal bouquets.

They spent the afternoon with the bridal party having their portraits taken before making their way to Parlour for the reception. I had so much fun capturing the wedding of Wayde and Lexi, here are my most favourite memories from the day.

The Scerri Family

The Scerri family was a such a nice bunch to work with during their outdoor family photo session. I had a great time capturing these guys just hanging out. It’s so important to get your family together every once in a while for some updated photos, because time flies and as the kids get older getting everyone together gets harder and harder. Here are some of the highlights from our afternoon together.

Branding Session with Ivy Lane Collective

One of my most recent sessions was with the girls at Ivy Lane Collective. I have worked alongside Elyza and her team in the wedding industry since the beginning of my business back in 2017. When Elyza reached out for a branding shoot I was eager to see what a day in the life of a florist looks like. I have seen the amazing floral work these girls create for weddings so going behind the scenes was something new and so much fun! They really do pour their passion and talent into everything they do, what an incredibly talented bunch of girls.

Laura and Billy's Engagement Session at Sydney Botanical Gardens

Spring in Australia is such a beautiful time of year for engagement photos. I met up with Billy and Laura at the Sydney Botanical Gardens over the October long weekend for a morning session with their kids. We explored the grounds and captured some beautiful photos in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

Having got to know the couple during our shoot I am now really looking forward to capturing their upcoming wedding!

Lachlan and Raegan's Wedding at Hazelhurst Gallery

Lachlan and Raegan had a clear vision for their Hazelhurst Art Gallery wedding. They wanted to keep some things traditional like Raegan wearing a white gown and being given away by her father, but when it came to the styling they knew they wanted to add a modern twist. With an amazing team of vendors, their big day was bursting with colour and was full of excitement.

They held their garden ceremony in the afternoon which meant they could head straight into the reception, only stopping to have some quick portraits as the sun began to set. The Art Gallery made the perfect venue for the night, with its colourful walls and ambient lighting. They decorated the room with baby’s-breath and added a neon sign, reminding guests to hit the dance floor. The reception was a nod to their fun side - with heart shaped sunglasses, disco cowgirl boots and a personalised denim jacket. The night ended with a sparkler send off for the newlyweds.

What a unique wedding to be part of, congratulations guys!

Thomas and Emily's Wedding at The Homestead Berry

Tom and Emily’s Homestead wedding was such a fun day, this fun loving couple created the most easy going atmosphere that perfectly mirrored their relaxed personalities. They chose a beautiful spring colour palette which added warmth and colour to the styling.

They chose to say “I do” with the ivy covered Silo as the backdrop and their fur baby as the ring bearer. They kicked off the celebration with an afternoon ceremony surrounded by the country homestead, followed by a reception in The Cow Shed which featured banquet dining tables that were decorated beautifully with dried florals. The party then moved to the dance floor, where Tom and Emily shared a romantic first dance.

One of my favourite moments from the day was right after the portraits when the bridal party surprised Tom and Emily with their gift, a live artist who was painting the couple in real time. This was a hilarious reveal as the couple were both very confused who the mystery guest was.

The whole day was a lot of fun and we were so happy to be there to capture it all.

Congratulations Tom and Emily!

Jake and Amanda's Wedding at The Cove Jervis Bay

For Jake and Amanda Jervis Bay will always hold a special place in their hearts, because it is here that they tied the knot. There was so much to love about their big day at The Cove, from the personalised wedding newspaper, to the giant LOVE letters and everything in between.

The boys kicked the day off with a dip in the ocean, while the girls spent the morning getting all dolled up in the glam room. Once ready the couple met for the first time at the end of the aisle, in this moment the nerves had settled and they were ready to start their forever. They said “I do”overlooking the ocean in a ceremony which was officiated by local celebrant Todd Mayhew who added a layer of humour to this fun loving couples day.

As the sun began to set the couple filled up the champagne tower for their guests who were enjoying cocktail hour on the lawn. With some ice cream in hand they set off with our team for some portraits on the beach.

It wasn’t long before the bridal party was back with charged glasses for a round of toasts to the newlyweds and to watch them cut their heart shaped retro cake and hit the dancefloor.

Not a single detail was overlooked at Jake and Amanda’s wedding, they made sure the aesthetic and the vibes were both immaculate!

If your wedding style is both fun and quirky, you definitely don’t want to miss out on this insane wedding. Keep on scrolling to delve into the wedding of Mr and Mrs Fisher!

Tom and Georgia's Linneus Farm Wedding

Right from the start, Tom and Georgia were determined to have a wedding that was uniquely theirs. They had one goal in mind, and that was to throw an incredible celebration for their friends and family. And they definitely succeeded! From the standout florals, modern styling, and the incredible property - their wedding was a magical affair.

Georgia and Tom hosted their special day at a family friends private property in Berry and it provided the perfect country landscape for their garden ceremony and gorgeous reception. They transformed the barn into an elegant space fit with disco balls and chandeliers.

They infused every aspect with their own unique style and personal touch. They had their guests all wear black which created a luxury timeless feel. I’m looking forward to seeing the day on film as they had their guests capture the whole event on old school camcorders.

Congratulations Tom and Georgia and thank you for sharing your special day with me!

Nadia and Alessandro's Jervis Bay Engagement Shoot

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of joining Alessandro and Nadia for a breathtaking afternoon engagement session at the picturesque Blenheim Beach in Jervis Bay. As the sun began to set it cast a warm, romantic glow across the powdery white sands and crystal-clear waters, it was impossible not to be captivated by the love from this beautiful couple. Against the backdrop of the tranquil bay and the gentle lapping of waves, Alessandro and Nadia's connection was nothing short of amazing.

Congratulations Nadia and Alessandro on your engagement!

Hashi and Viyan's Bendooley Estate Wedding

Hashi and Viyan chose the most beautiful venue for their wedding, Bendooley Estate in the Southern Highlands. They decided to start the day with an intimate first look before making their way to the Stables where they were joined by friends and family for an afternoon ceremony. One very sweet thing I noticed was that Hashi and Viyan held hands the entire time.

Once married the newlyweds shared a first kiss and made their way down the aisle with the biggest smiles on their faces. After capturing some portraits amidst the captivating scenery of Bendooley, the newlyweds returned to the reception venue for an intimate dinner and a romantic first dance, which was the highlight of the evening. The entire day was undeniably magical!

The Gulloni Family

A big congratulations goes out to Tash and James who have recently welcomed their newest addition to the family, little Ava. It was so nice to catch up with these guys, especially to capture another special moment in their lives. Ava is one very loved little girl and Billy is one very proud big brother!

Sheridan and Laura's Homestead Wedding

Picture this, a gorgeous burst of pastel florals, two beautiful brides, and modern styling, all coming together against a stunning country landscape. Laura and Sheridan’s Homestead wedding was as dreamy as it was magical.

The girls started their morning off together in the salon with hair and makeup before separating to get into their gowns. They met on the lawn for a private first look which helped them calm their nerves and build excitement for the day. The Silo set the stage for a truly romantic ceremony, the girls were framed with a white arbour which had been decorated with a mix of dried and fresh florals. Once married Sheridan and Laura made their way back down the aisle, hand in hand, covered in bright confetti.

The reception was held in the Cow Shed which had been decorated with the most stunning flowers and candles. The girls injected their quirky personalities into the planning of the day and I loved it all, from the two piece suit, to the crocs, to the retro cake and the fun heart sunglasses - every bit them and every bit perfect.

Live, laugh, love lesbians.

Matt and Kelly's Wedding at Cupitt's Winery

Matt and Kelly’s intimate winter wedding was held at Cupitt’s Winery and while I am obsessed with this stunning venue alone, their whole day brings a smile to my face as I reflect on how happy these newlyweds were to be tying the knot.

They opted for an afternoon ceremony overlooking the gorgeous vineyard and then they joined their friends and family for an evening reception in the Cupitt’s restaurant. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the day that made the event so special.

Thank you Matt and Kelly for sharing such a special day with me, I wish you guys every happiness!

Jarrad and Beth's Wedding at The Cove

When a carefree, fun loving couple tie the knot, magic happens! Jarrad and Beth are the epitome of fun - and their wedding perfectly showcased their love for having a good time.

Surrounded by National Park and overlooking the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay these two held the wedding of the season at The Cove, a private south coast resort. Guests were invited to kick off the shoes and join the ceremony barefoot. The couple shared vows and memories which had them laughing as they reminisced all the moments that led them to their wedding day. They explored the grounds for some post ceremony portraits before making their way back to the reception hall for a night of dancing and good times.

If given the chance, I would shoot Jarrad and Beth’s wedding again in a heartbeat. Congratulations lovers!

Sam and Terri's Wedding

With their shared love for the coastline, Sam and Terri dreamed of having a beach wedding. After exploring different venue options they found The Cove, a private resort located in Booderee National Park. With a big group of friends and lots of family to host they knew this property was the perfect choice for their Jervis Bay wedding.

The road into the Cove really set the mood for their celebration, a picturesque drive through the National Park along the Jervis Bay coast which takes you to ocean cabins, glamping tents and a gorgeous wedding hall. Sam and Terri hired the entire property for their guests to stay and celebrate their marriage.

On the day of the wedding the couple spent the morning apart which built anticipation and excitement for the ceremony which was held outdoors, overlooking the Inlet. The couple shared many laughs and a couple of tears as they stood side by side making promises of forever. Once married they were joined by the bridal party for portraits on the beach as the sun began to set. Upon their return their glasses were charged and they were ready to let their hair down for one hell of a reception.

I had so much fun capturing the wedding of Sam and Terri, they are an easy going, fun loving couple who made my job so enjoyable. Congratulations guys!

Steve and Erin's Homestead Berry Wedding

Imagine getting married on a beautiful five-acre rural property set amongst lush rolling hills, that’s exactly what Steve and Erin did! They chose a venue that mixes historical charm with modern luxury and is nestled amidst the picturesque town of Berry, NSW, creating a perfect backdrop for their special day.

The couple’s dream of a romantic wedding came to life thanks to a team of suppliers who flawlessly executed their vision. The garden ceremony exuded country charm and was made even more beautiful with an archway of colourful florals. Steve and Erin exchanged wedding bands, heartfelt vows and had their first kiss, surrounded by their loved ones. The reception was equally breathtaking, with banquet-style dining tables filling the rustic Cow Shed. The tables were adorned with gorgeous florals and candles which set a romantic ambiance for the evening. As the night unfolded, Steve surprised his new wife with a flashmob singalong to John Farnham’s Two Strong Hearts. The night ended just how it should, with a jam-packed dance floor.

Dylan and Caitlin's Growwild Wedding

We love seeing wedding creatives tie the knot because they pay such attention to detail. When makeup artist Caitlin planned her wedding to her fiancé Dylan she knew she wanted to do her own makeup and design the florals for the day. She showcased her love for a classic timeless look and she incorporated some modern elements to the day.

Dylan and Caitlin decided that they wanted to get married in the Southern Highlands, and that’s when they found Growwild. Growwild is an incredible venue set amidst a picturesque wildflower farm that spans over 25 acres of Australian bushland. With the help of their talented team of suppliers their wedding truly reflected the vision they shared for the day - from the Hollywood glam hair, the classic white roses right through to the neon signage and massive Krispy Kreme tower.

Their garden ceremony set the mood for a romantic day, we took a trip down memory lane right back to where it all began for the newlyweds and what lead them to marriage. They shared laughs, tears and heartfelt vows. They exchanged rings and shared their first kiss, all surrounded by close friends and family. For the reception, they gathered around and listened to toasts made in their honour and danced in the centre of a circle which was lit up by sparklers and the night sky.

Their wedding was an unforgettable intimate celebration, with every single detail thoughtfully planned. It was an honour capture this wedding and picking my favourites for the blog was a challenge, but I gave it my best shot!
