This was such a beautiful session for me, visiting new parents Josh and Jayde in their family home. It’s an exciting time for mum and dad as they walked me through a morning with their little girl, she fed, she cried and she had a change. What’s amazing is how quickly two people become parents, and how they can already know her needs and calm her straight away. Congratulations Jayde, you were born to be a mother.
The Sturt Family Session
A beach family portrait session is one of my favourite options for a family photo session. Especially in Jervis Bay with all those amazing stunning beaches. There are so many options for a beach family portrait session; my favourite beaches to go to are White Sands, Blenheim and Greenfields.
I recently caught up with the Stuart family to capture some memories of them with their daughters exploring Moona Moons creek in Huskisson, which will soon become their backyard. You could tell how much love their is in this family of four who just loved exploring with each other. Here are some of the highlights.
Lauren's Jervis Bay Maternity Shoot
What better spot to photograph a maternity session than in Jervis Bay. It’s such a beautiful time being pregnant and nine months of carrying a little bundle of joy is the best anticipation to experience. I loved catching up with past wedding clients David and Lauren to capture some of their journey into parenthood and celebrate Laurens pregnancy. Here are a few highlights from our Vincentia session.
Robert and Amanda's Wedding
Pastel floral arrangements, blue bridesmaid dresses, and modern styling — Robert and Amanda’s Warilla wedding tied together romantic touches, making their celebration stunning while still maintaining a fun vibe. Their seaside ceremony made the perfect backdrop to say I do before heading off for some romantic portraits in the golden hour. After tying the knot and wrapping up the photos, the celebration continued back at Warilla Bowling Club where the couple laughed all night. Here are some of my favourite memories from the day.

Zac and Paige's Worrowing Wedding
Zac and Paige wanted to host a memorable wedding for their friends and family that was packed with lots of fun. They made sure their guests were entertained throughout the day and included afternoon lawn games and mini golf. They chose a beautiful Australian homestead to tie the knot, which they filled with dried floral arrangements and blush accents. They said “I do” over looking the water and surrounded by kangaroos. Following their heartfelt ceremony, they explored the stunning grounds of Worrowing with their bridal party for portraits as the sun set. They entered the Hereford Shed hand in hand, as husband and wife ready to celebrate with everyone who were eagerly waiting with their glasses charged. Congratulations Zac and Paige, you guys sure know how to host a wedding!

Eleven Eighty Winter Collaboration
Earlier this month we got together with some of our wedding friends to get creative at the hottest new venue on the south coast. Eleven Eighty played host to an edgy bridal shoot as the sun began to set. We are obsessed with the quirky elements of the property and how it felt so rich in historic charm. The School Hall has been lovingly restored for intimate dining or wet weather ceremonies. Having a venue with so much character meant there was little need to bring in furniture or hire items as the canvas was already exactly what we were after. Having had a taste of what Eleven Eighty has to offer we cannot wait to return to document some fun weddings in the future. Add this one to your shortlist guys!

Jayde's Maternity Session
The south coast has so many beautiful locations for photo shoots, like the session I am sharing today which was taken at Gerroa, NSW. Jayde reached out to have some maternity photos taken as she is nearing the end of her pregnancy, and Josh and her are so excited to soon become a family of three. I loved capturing Jayde’s journey into motherhood, as it is such a special time for her. Congratulations on your pregnancy and all the best for the birth.
Brooke and Ahmed’s Bombo Family Session
I met Ahmed and Brooke a few years ago when they were newly engaged and wanted to have some portraits taken to document the special time in their lives. Since then, I have had the pleasure of taking their wedding photos and more recently, a family session. I always feel so privileged to meet up with my clients and see how life after marriage is going. For this fun loving couple, life is a little busier chasing after their cheeky little boy.
Amber's Maternity Session
Down to earth, happy and just all round great people, I am so blessed to have photographed this exciting time in Amber and Andrew’s life. With news of another baby on the way, Amber reached out for some maternity photos of her family in their hometown Vincentia. These three will soon welcome their newest member and you could tell just how excited they were at the news.
As a lifestyle photographer, I really enjoy having the chance to tell stories through photography and the ability to freeze all the precious moments to look back on for years to come.
Congratulations Amber and Andrew, see you in a few months when your little one arrives!
Grant and Christina's Wedding Portraits
Like so many couples, Grant and Christine’s wedding plans were forced to change when the world went into lockdown during the global pandemic. Fortunately, these two found an alternative to their original plans and were able to be married in a friend's backyard, via a town hall in Utah.
Utah became the first state in America to recognise a virtual Zoom wedding between partners living not just in different states, but in different countries. And this legal Zoom wedding isn’t just the first in the country, it’s the first of its kind anywhere.
As a way to celebrate their marriage, Grant and Christine met up with me at Bombo to take some wedding portraits. Here are a few of my favourites.
The Homestead Berry
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of photographing The Homestead as part of the South Coast wedding trail. The Homestead is the quintessential venue for your perfect Berry wedding. Set against a backdrop of rolling green hills and boasting a stunning rural outlook, this 5 acre property provides everything you need for an incredible celebration for up to 120 guests.
Their wedding packages include exclusive use of The Homestead including the luxury guest accommodation which fits up to 10 people, and the extensive grounds, to ensure their couples can make the most of this incredibly special time with family and friends.
Out of all the properties on the south coast, The Homestead is my most booked venue for 2023 which means you will be seeing a lot more of this country gem soon!
Josh and Fiona's Wedding at The Growers
Having grown up on the NSW South Coast, Josh and Fiona knew they wanted to tie the knot where coast meets country and where better than The Growers.
These two said their “I do’s” in an intimate ceremony officiated by Adam Straney and witnessed by some of their closest family members. This romantic garden wedding was made even more beautiful with it’s ethereal florals by Lily Ever After and the surrounding rural setting of the venue. Every detail, including the groom’s sharp grey suit and the brides lace full-length gown were beautifully thought out.
In the lead-up to the wedding heavy rain was forecast, but that did not seem to stress the couple, instead just made them adapt to new plans and welcome the wedding rain, hail or shine.
I felt so honoured to photograph this special ceremony and be part of such a special chapter in the couples life. Congratulations Josh and Fi, and all the best with married life and your next chapter as a family.

Rhiannon and Jarrad's Bangalay Wedding
Picture this: tying the knot on the idyllic South Coast at Bangalay, nestled between the Shoalhaven Heads Golf Course and Seven Mile Beach National Park. Sounds perfect doesn’t it? That’s exactly where Jarrad and Rhiannon got married last month and it was dreamy!
When these two began planning their wedding they knew they wanted to find a venue that could accomodate their massive bridal party, and loving friends and family.
This couple wanted their wedding to be lots of fun, which is why they were sure to include a pit stop back to the beach house for some hilarious drinking games before entering the reception showered in confetti.
Here are some of my favourite moments from the day.

Family Session at Tomakin Beach
It feels like my family sessions are few and far between as most weekends I am photographing weddings. As a father, family sessions are some of my favourite because I know how meaningful the photos become as the kids get older and the moments pass us by.
I met up with Kelsey and her family at Tomakin Beach, a coastal town that is sentimental to them. The kids had fun exploring the beach and climbing the rocks while the parents just enjoyed the time spent together. Here are some of the highlights from the morning.
Daniel and Jo's Shoal Bay Wedding
On the 9th of July we photographed the wedding of Daniel and Jo, who had to postpone during the pandemic. These two spent the morning with their own side of the bridal party at Salt before making their way to Dutchmans Reserve on the Famous Newcastle Tram to tie the knot. Surrounded by friends and family they exchanged vows, and rings and took a trip down memory lane of their life together. Their marriage was officiated by Jess Mutch, in a romantic ceremony that overlooked the ocean.
Once married they hopped back on the tram and made their way to the beach for some sunset portraits together. Before long, they were back with their guests at The Shoal Bay Country Club with charged glasses eager to hit the dance floor.
Thank you guys for having us photograph the wedding of the year, what fun!

Family Session at Harry Sawkins Park
Earlier this month I caught up with this beautiful family at Harry Sawkins Park ahead of a special combined baptism. Coming from a big family I know just how much love comes with every new addition. Here are some of my favourite shots from the winter session.
Jason and Angela's Seacliff House Wedding
On the 11th of July 2022 Jason and Angela became husband and wife at St Mary Star of the Sea in Gerringong, NSW.
Red statement florals with rustic styling—this was the unique vision the couple had for their Seacliff House wedding. Jason and Angela, with the help of the brides mother, transformed the barn into the wedding venue of their dreams.
Confetti cannons are synonymous with a good time and that’s how the couple entered their reception, it really set the party mood for the entire evening. They had arranged their guests to be seated in long banquet tables which allowed plenty of space for the dance floor - which was the highlight of the night.
This unique wedding had so much fun and charm, that collided in the most perfect way. I have been dying to share the highlights of their special day because it truly was a celebration to remember!

Hayden and Hannah's Wedding at The Cove Jervis Bay
Spectacular views over Jervis Bay, a modern coastal wedding hall and stunning florals - Hayden and Hannah’s picture perfect wedding at The Cove will have you swept off your feet. Captivated by the boutique beach side wedding venue, the couple wanted to celebrate their marriage with a party that didn’t have to end. They chose to hire the entire resort which played host for the two day event. With the help of The Wedding and Event Creators this couple pulled off the coastal wedding of their dreams.
The couple exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the ocean with their own private beach before heading into the surrounding national park for afternoon portraits. As the sun began to set they made their way back to the reception which was dripping in florals and glowing from their neon light. There was a sense of relief once the formalities ended that they could sit back and enjoy the celebration.
Congratulations Hayden and Hannah, I loved celebrating with you both!

Jessie and Avia's Wedding at The Cove Jervis Bay
Today I am sharing the highlights from Jessie and Avia’s beautiful wedding at The Cove. These two tied the knot on the 30th of May 2022 overlooking the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay surrounded by friends and family. Their wedding was full of so much joy and emotion from start to finish. I loved witnessing how they incorporated tradition and culture into the celebration. Editing this wedding was such a pleasure as I got to re live all the beautiful memories.
