Jarrod and Candice's Austinmer Wedding

Smiling and laughing is how Jarrod and Candice spent their wedding day which was held at Headlands Hotel in Austinmer, NSW. They chose this venue as it overlooked the stunning coastline and had the space to host both their ceremony and reception. It was easy to capture the happiness of the day because they were genuinely enjoying themselves the whole time. Nothing seemed to bother this couple, not even the rain that forced them to spend most of the day indoors.

I am so happy for these newlyweds and so glad I got to be there to capture all the good bits!

Alex and Ophelia's Mollymook Wedding

Over the last couple of years many engaged couples have been forced to change their wedding plans thanks the pandemic. I can’t even imagine how upsetting that has been for so many people. For Alex and Ophelia, contracting the virus meant they had to hold off getting married until they were all clear. With a new date set, they reached out and asked me to photograph their intimate seaside ceremony.

These two tied the knot at Mollymook, NSW on the fourth of April with their closest friends and family. We spent the afternoon exploring the surrounding coastline for some portraits of the newlyweds. This was a beautiful wedding to document that showed bigger doesn’t always mean better.

Michael and Imera's Jervis Bay Wedding

With a very wet season, it has not been uncommon for couples to change their plans last minute. Just weeks out from their wedding Michael and Imera decided to move their Jervis Bay ceremony to an indoor location, so they secured The Flamin Galah Brewery to avoid the rain. This unique venue surpassed all expectations and made the perfect location to host their colourful day.

They exchanged their vows inside the Brewery and celebrated with friends and family in the beer garden. I love when couples dare to be different, and that’s exactly what Imera did. From her pink dress, pom pom bouquets and patterned bridesmaid dresses everything was colourful and fun.

Thank you Michael and Imera for allowing me to capture such a cool wedding, I wish you guys every happiness!

Jack and Krissie's Worrowing Wedding

I’m pretty damn excited to share this post with you, because I LOVE these guys! I had such a hard time picking which photos to share on the blog because there were so many happy smiles, cute moments, belly laughs and dance floor shots at this Worrowing Estate wedding.

Jack and Krissue wanted a wedding that prioritised their love for family, friends and of course each other. With the help of The Wedding and Event Creators, this couple was able to create a wedding that was so much fun I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The ceremony and reception venue—Worrowing Estate — is historic 250-acre coastal farm property just moments away from Jervis Bay. To enhance this already beautiful homestead, they incorporated deep red florals and and delicate arrangements throughout the wedding shed.

If you love a good time, then this post is for you.

Josh and Angie's Milton Wedding

A stunning Amy New gown, modern pink florals, and a reception venue overlooking Mollymook Beach—everything about this south coast wedding was perfect. With the help of wedding stylists Blue Bird and florist Darcie Fleur, Josh and Angie were able to bring their dream day to life.

The Old Church —a historic venue located in Milton NSW—created an amazing atmosphere for the afternoon ceremony. It has been lovingly restored and is surrounded by lush greenery. To add a pop of color to their wedding, this couple incorporated pink florals into the bouquet, the buttonholes, and onto the reception tables.

Throughout the day I heard many stories of how different guests knew the couple and where in life their paths had crossed. While each story was unique, there was a common theme in the comments made about how nice the bride and groom were. I meet a lot of people photographing weddings, and it’s true Josh and Angie have a special warmth and happiness. I loved spending my day getting to know them and celebrating such a big occasion in their lives.

Wez and Sarah's Wedding at The Cove

There’s nothing quite like tying the knot at an incredible paradise destination - for Wez and Sarah that’s exactly what they did. They gathered their friends and family and hired out an entire beach front resort in Jervis Bay.

Sarah and Wez started their celebration by exchanging their vows overlooking a romantic private beach at The Cove. The mid-day ceremony took our breath away but the party really kicked off at the reception in the wedding hall. There were so many stand out moments in the day, but the funniest one that comes to mind was when the groom received a new bodyboard as a gift which he tried out on the bridal table, which quickly came crashing down.  So many laughs, so much fun - what a wedding!

Jack and Bec's Worrowing Wedding

Today on the blog I am sharing the highlights from Jack and Bec’s wedding which took place on the 22nd of March 2022. Set on a historic 250-acre coastal farm property surrounded by lush gardens and Australian bush-land, these two tied the knot and became Mr and Mrs Walker.

The morning was spent getting ready in the Worrowing cottages with each side of the bridal party. Bec shared a heartfelt first look with her bridesmaids and then re-lived the surprise all over again with her parents, a loving moment with a couple of tears. Bec then made her way to the Georgian homestead to meet Jack for the ceremony which was officiated by Cathryn Philpott. The couple were both nervous, so decided to scissors paper rock to see who would share their vows first. After a trip down memory lane, they made their way down the aisle, covered in confetti, as husband and wife.

They held their reception in The Hereford Shed, a rustic space that overlooks a private lake, tall tree stands, rolling pastures, and the lush bushland of the Jervis Bay National Park. Throughout the night one thing became clear, that this was not just a marriage between Jack and Bec but a coming together of two families who were so damn happy for this couple.

Thank you Jack and Bec for your warmth and hospitality. We loved photographing your day, getting to know your friends and family and joining in all the celebrations. We hope these photos take you back to all the happiness that we both felt for you guys.

Dean and Brooke's Wedding at The Woods Farm

Dean and Brooke celebrated their marriage on Saturday the 19th of March 2022 at The Woods Farm. They were so happy that they chose this venue to tie the knot as it meant the party didn’t have to end and they could spend a couple of days exploring the Jervis Bay farm with their friends and family. The newlyweds decided to ditch tradition and have an early first look outside the farm cottages. Once married, they joined their guests for a toast and a champagne tower before setting off for some sunset portraits. This couple was so much fun to hang out with and I am beyond grateful that they thought I was the right fit for their special day.

James and Elise's Narrawallee Wedding

On the 18th of March James and Elise tied the knot overlooking Narrawallee, one of the most beautiful beaches on the NSW south coast. Prior to the ceremony the couple met up for a first look, a private moment before making things official. Their marriage was officiated by Cath Philpott, who took a trip down memory lane for the couple. Once the legal documents were signed and the couple had shared their first kiss, they made their way down the aisle hand in hand covered in confetti. With the portraits taken earlier in the day they were able to fill the champagne tower and start the celebrations early in the evening. Congratulations James and Elise, you guys deserve all the happiness a marriage brings!

Frankie Resch

Welcoming a newborn into your family is a beautiful, emotional time. As a family photographer, I love when I have the opportunity to document these early days as everyone in the family gets to know its newest member. That’s why it was such a pleasure to catch up with Aaron, Britt and Georgie to welcome baby Frankie with a newborn lifestyle photography session. Welcoming a new baby sister can sometimes be daunting for older siblings, but not for Georgie! She is SO excited about being a big sister, and she was excited to be part of the session.

Ben and Haley's Wedding

The pandemic has caused so many couples to postpone their wedding wedding, but the silver lining is that it’s giving couples like Ben and Haley more time to plan their big day. On the 13th of March 2022 Mr and Mrs Ford tied the knot in front of a close group of friends and family. Following their ceremony at The Groundz they made their way to the Wollongong Botanical Gardens for some afternoon portraits. From the sweetest first look with Haleys bridesmaids and father to the candid in-between moments, I loved capturing all the emotions as they unfolded. If you love the idea of an indoor wedding, in a unique bar, this is the blog post you don’t wan’t to miss.

Ryan and Ashley's Wedding

Ryan and Ashley had been looking forward to their big day, which was originally planned for 2020, but due to the pandemic, they had to change those plans and reschedule for two years later. They opted for an intimate celebration at their home in Helensburgh. Between the character filled house and the surrounding National Park, their home really was the perfect place to say “I do.” What I loved most about this sentimental celebration was the inclusion of their beautiful children, and how they emphasised the shared value of family.

Baby Banks

Good morning! It is a great privilege to be welcomed into the home of new parents to document those first few weeks. As a father of two little girls, I understand firsthand how quickly those first months of our children’s lives are, which is why I encourage you to either get newborn professional photos or pick up the camera to capture some memories.

Congratulations to Rory and Mariah on the arrival of Banks, he is absolutely adorable! Here are a few of my favourite photos from your in home session.

Cameron and Sandee's Bendooley Wedding

Rain, hail, floods or shine Sandee and Cameron were getting married on the 7th of March 2022.

Bendooley Estate was the perfect country venue for these two to tie the knot in the Southern Highlands. Having spent the morning apart getting ready they first laid eyes on each other at the end of aisle, a heartfelt moment witnessed by their nearest and dearest. They said their I do’s in the Stables, a beautiful barn that looks out across the paddocks. Once married, they took advantage of a quick break in the rain to set out for some photos with their bridal party.

The celebrations kicked off early and the newlyweds couldn’t stop smiling. I’m glad I got to share in their happiness. Congratulations guys!

Lachlan and Maree's Engagement Session

From the sweetest walk along the boardwalk to an intimate shoot on the beach, there’s something so special about an afternoon spent in Jervis Bay. Lachlan and Maree celebrated their recent engagement with a photo session at Greenfields Beach. The couple’s session includes a mix of candid moments the couple shared as we explored the National Park and shore, here are some of my favourites.

Hayden and Morgan's Crooked River Winery Wedding

This season has been quite crazy, especially with all this rain. In the lead up to Morgan and Hayden’s wedding the Shoalhaven experienced flash flooding, however on the 5th of March the skies were clear which meant these two could tie the knot just as they had planned.

They held their ceremony right outside Crooked River Winery, overlooking the rolling hills of Gerringong - a picture-perfect backdrop. Once the marriage was official, they set off with their bridal party for some afternoon portraits. Their guests were entertained with some classic lawn games outside while they were gone. The good times didn’t stop there, they hosted a sit-down reception where they enjoyed delicious food, flowing drinks and a night of heartfelt speeches and dancing.

Callum and Maddy's Mali Brae Farm Wedding

Cal and Maddy tied the knot on the 4th of March in the Southern Highlands. Maddy’s attention to detail for every part of the wedding was absolutely perfect, from the gifts to her groom to the styling of the reception. While the weather wasn’t ideal, we were still able to capture some amazing shots as the sun set over Mali Brae Farm. They held their ceremony in the Pavilion which overlooks the rolling hills and sits alongside the Old Ruins. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Lowe and all the best in your next chapter.

Benjamin and Laura's Gerringong Wedding

Ben and Laura held their wedding at Soul of Gerringong in a beautiful intimate outdoor ceremony. They drew inspiration for their special day from the many years of their relationship that were spent sailing on the ocean together. Having been part of surf life saving together and later purchasing a yacht the two have a big connection to the coastline, giving extra meaning to the saying “tying the knot.”

A lot of thought and attention to detail went into the wedding. Laura wore a sentimental ring on her right hand, that was made from both of her grandmothers. Her gown had a flower attached to the lining that was originally from her mothers wedding dress. They focused a lot of attention on food for the day, Laura does a lot of cooking herself and always says food is love so they wanted to show that in the catering. I enjoyed sharing a meal with the couple and hearing the heartfelt speeches from their friends and family.

Congratulations Ben and Laura, here are the highlights from your wedding at Soul.
