Lincoln and Alexa's South Coast Wedding

Lincoln and Alexa had a clear vision of how they wanted their wedding to go. They wanted to meet up for a first look and spend some time together before the ceremony, because that’s how they do life - together. They decided to tie the knot at Lincoln’s mums property, a beautiful homestead in Kiama, NSW. With the help of their loved ones they transformed the space into a beautiful bohemian wonderland, which made the perfect setting for their evening reception. Every detail like the preserved and dried flowers, the pampas arbour, persian rugs and woven placemats was thoughtfully chosen by the bride to add the relaxed vibe they wanted.

Like many of the couples I work with, Alexa and Lincoln warned me that they feel awkward having their photo taken. Ten minutes into the day, it was like I wasn’t even there and they both relaxed. Scrolling through my camera you could honestly feel the love in every photo.

Congratulations guys, here are the highlights.

Ruby and Dylans Seacliff House Wedding

I feel like I can speak on behalf of everyone at the wedding when I say Dylan and Ruby’s wedding was the best we’ve been to, so wild, and so much fun. They held their wedding on the 8th of January 2022 at Seacliff House, a beautiful seaside venue on the south coast. The vendors were epic, the vibe was lots of fun and the pictures speak for themselves.

Tom and Maddi's Wedding

When planning their wedding Maddi and Tom had a few set backs thanks to the changing restrictions of the pandemic. However, luck was on their side this time around and they were able to tie the knot on the 6th of January 2022. The two spent the morning apart before meeting up at The Homestead, a luxurious new venue that has been lovingly restored in the picturesque village of Berry.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family they said I do in a garden ceremony that was styled beautifully by the talented team at Lovestoned Styling. Covered in petal confetti they made their way down the aisle hand in hand, happier than ever. We explored the grounds for some portraits before they joined their guests for a night of celebrating. We loved every minute we spent with this gorgeous couple and we are so excited they can finally call each other husband and wife, congratulations!

The Wilson Family

I was so excited when Dominique contacted us to book her maternity session, as I feel like we’ve been documenting this little family since the beginning. In March 2022 Rhys and Dom will be welcoming their newest member and they will go from a family of four to a family of five.

Congratulations guys and all the best with the birth!

Andrew and Jessica's Canberra Wedding

Our jaws dropped when we arrived at Poacher’s Pantry for Andrew and Jessica’s wedding, it was perfect in every single way. These two tied the knot on the 4th of January in a garden ceremony that was dripping in colourful florals and surrounded by rolling hills.

They spent the morning apart, getting ready before making their way to the venue to declare their love and commitment through the sweetest vows that only solidified how perfect they are for one another. Surrounded by the people that mean the most to them they dined under fairy lights and danced beneath the stars. To add to the magic, soloist Marty K performed live music throughout the whole celebration.

I wish Andrew and Jessica all the best in the next stage of life, the best is yet to come.

Hannah and Hannah's Worrowing Wedding

There’s nothing quite like the lighting and feeling of a sunset, so it makes sense that the two Hannah’s wanted their Jervis Bay ceremony in the afternoon so they could soak up some of the golden hour for their portraits. These two beautiful girls tied the knot at Worrowing Estate, after an intimate first look. They wanted to spend lots of time with their guests so they explored the property for some photos but quickly made their way back to the dance floor to kick off the celebration. Scroll down to see the highlights from my last wedding of 2021. Congratulations girls!

Andrew and Madyson's Novotel North Beach Wedding

On the 19th of December Andrew and Madyson finally got a chance to celebrate their marriage after a couple of false starts, thanks to the pandemic. With a little help from The Wedding and Event Creators the couple turned the Novotel North Beach into their dream wedding space.

What I love most about this couple was how positive they both were in the lead up to the day, even with the obstacles thrown their way. When they stood on the Deck and said their I do’s all that stress was forgotten and they were exactly where they needed to be. Some weddings stand out because the couple feel more like friends and my job becomes so enjoyable, this was one of those weddings.

A big congratulations to these newlyweds, you guys deserve all the happiness that marriage brings.

Peter and Melissa's Wollongong Wedding

On the 11th of December 2021 Peter and Melissa were married at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Wollongong, NSW. Following their traditional ceremony they were joined by their bridal party for some wedding portraits in the Botanical Gardens. The celebrations continued into the night as they made their way to City Beach. One thing I loved about Peter and Melissa’s wedding day was how much fun it was. If there’s one thing you can always anticipate at a Greek wedding, it’s dancing. And then, more dancing.

Congratulations Peter and Melissa, your wedding was one to remember!

Hayden and Madison's Wedding

Hayden and Madison celebrated their marriage in a modern rustic wedding, which has to be one of our favourite styles. Their ceremony and reception were both held at Bewong River Retreat, a private estate nestled within beautiful Australian bushland and backing onto the riverbank. They got ready in the onsite cabins, which made for some stunning photos. We explored the estate grounds with a couple of umbrellas to shield the bride and groom from the rain, which added to the moody images we captured. One of our favourite moments from the day was the family first dance which took place outside under the fairy lights.

Billy and Renae's Wedding

On Saturday the 27th of November Renae and Billy became Mr and Mrs Davey. Their wedding proves that you don’t need an official wedding venue to have the wedding of your dreams! With the restrictions constantly changing in the lead up to their big day having the option to get married on a friends private property meant they didn’t have the added stress of the pandemic. Together with the Bices, they created one hell of an amazing backyard wedding complete with a ceremony overlooking Cambewarra Mountain and a marquee tent that made for some beautiful wet weather protection for the reception. Congratulations Billy and Renae and thank you for allowing me to be part of your day!

Family Beach Session in Jervis Bay

I loved capturing this family at Greenfields Beach in Jervis Bay. We had so much during our session, the girls even had a chance to make some sand castles. For Ashleigh and James, this was the first time they had family photos with their two daughters. Since they all love the outdoors, and call Vincentia home, it made perfect sense to capture some memories by the sea. Thank you for booking me for your first session, here are my favourite shots.

The Viret Family

Today on the blog I am sharing my recent session with the Viret family. This was my first shoot at Red Point, a popular beach in Currarong, NSW. Ryan and Elspeth decided to bring their dog to the shoot. Whenever I’m asked about bringing pets to a session I always say if they are part of the family, then bring them along. In ways it actually makes a shoot easier, as the kids are happy to show off their furry friend and it allows us to capture some candid shots as the kids can play with them too.

Tooth Family Announcement

Before these guys head off on their next big adventure they wanted to capture some family photos in Jervis Bay, the place where they first became a family of three. They are making a new life in Queensland and taking one more member with them. Congratulations Rach and Jayde on the news of your baby and all the best with the move!

Medibank Corporate Shoot

I was recently asked to create content at the new George Street office for Medibank. I met up with the CEO David Koczkar and chairman Mike Wilkins along with the staff from this branch. This was a great opportunity for me to branch into corporate photography. Medibank is one of the largest Australian private health insurance providers, having covered 3.7 million people in 2021.

Luke and Ashley's Pyree Wedding

When Luke and Ashley planned their wedding they wanted a big party with their closest friends and family. They tied the knot in an afternoon ceremony at Pyree Hall which was officiated by Cathryn Philpott, who had everyone smiling as she took a trip down memory lane and told their love story. The hall was the perfect venue for their sunset portraits as it is surrounded by beautiful dairy farming country. After they said their I do’s they spent the evening celebrating in the barn style hall which was decorated with lots of fairy lights. The night ended with the dance floor full and everyone in stitches as they played the bride and groom shoe game. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a special celebration and congratulations once again!

Edwin and Chelsea's Durras Wedding

Edwin and Chelsea tied the knot on the 12th of November in beautiful Durras. The two spent the morning with their own side of the bridal party before meeting up for one very sweet first look by the ocean. They embraced the rain during the ceremony which made for some pretty cute umbrella photos. Showered in confetti, they began their married life with the biggest smiles on their faces. Unfortunately thanks to the pandemic not everyone could be there, which makes these photos even more special. Congratulations Edwin and Chels, what a wedding!
