The Year 12 Formal is such a big moment for every high school student, it’s time to celebrate the last thirteen years of hard work at school. It’s also a fun time to celebrate the end of an era and the start of the next chapter. On the 25th of November I joined Ella and her family by the Shoalhaven River to capture some memories before she headed off with her friends. Here are the highlights.
Nicole's Newborn Session
I recently caught up with Nicole and her three boys to capture some memories. She wanted to take a stroll to her local park to get some candid photos with her newest addition, Huxley. Congratulations Nicole on your baby boy and thank you for inviting me to spend some time with your lovely family.
Laura's Maternity Session
A couple of weeks ago I met up with Laura for a maternity session at her local beach, Cudmirrah. It was nice to capture some memories of her pregnancy, and to meet her little family. It won’t be long until this family of three welcomes their newest member. Congratulations on the pregnancy and all the best with the birth!
Family Session at the Nowra Showground
The Nowra Showgrounds make a great rustic location for family photos, and just around the corner there is an incredible landing that overlooks the Shoalhaven River. Amanda contacted me on behalf of her siblings to arrange a session ahead of Christmas, I had lots of fun meeting this family. I hope they like the memories we captured. Josh and Brooke's Coledale Wedding
Today I am sharing the highlights from Josh and Brooke’s wedding which took place on the 14th of November 2020. The two tied the knot in Coledale, a beautiful coastal destination on the Coal Coast. Following their ceremony Josh and Brooke joined their family and friends for an unforgettable evening at The Woolshed. The Wright Family
It’s that time of year, where the Jacaranda’s are in the bloom and the Shoalhaven River is lined with bright purple trees. As a photographer you notice the way the landscape changes from season to season and it’s nice to have a new scene to shoot. I met up with the Wright family, ahead of Christmas to capture some memories of their cheeky boys. I somehow even managed to talk parents, Rob and Emma into a few shots of their own. Veronica and Zeljko's Sydney Wedding
Veronica and Zeljko had their wedding ceremony at St Charles Catholic Church in Ryde and their reception followed at Oliveto Ristorante E Bar at Rhodes. Veronica spent the morning with her bridesmaids getting pampered in Oatlands before making their way to the service. The wedding was as much about the people there as it was about the ones in their loving memory. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an important celebration.

Ash and Brooke's Engagement Session at Bombo Quarry
Ash and Brooke’s engagement shoot was so much fun! We met at the Bombo Quarry and explored the stunning surroundings that overlooked the coastline. They were easy to get along with, happy to be guided through their session and their love for each other really showed. Congratulations on your engagement, I will see you both at the wedding!
Amber's Maternity Session
I’m so excited to share this beautiful maternity session with you today! We had originally planned to meet in Wollongong however the winds were too strong at the main beach so we ended up heading south to Sandon Point where it was a little more protected. It’s always so special to document a pregnancy and I feel honoured to be asked.

Shoalhaven High Year 12 Formal
Earlier this month Shoalhaven High School Year 12 celebrated their graduation with the formal. The event was hosted at the Nowra Golf Club and was a night to remember. Since it was a small year, this group of kids have become very close - having spent the last six years together. Thank you to Mrs Carson for organising the event photography, and best of luck to everyone in the HSC.

Kelly's Baby Shower at Cambewarra Estate Winery
On the 1st of November Kelly’s friends organised a photoshoot to take place at her baby shower. The event was held at Cambewarra Estate Winery, and the parents were showered in gifts and love by their friends and family. The soon to be mum played lots of games with her guests, the funniest being a guessing competition on the size of her bump. Congratulations on your pregnancy Kelly and all the best with the arrival of your little one.
Shayne and Nadine's Wedding at The Barn On The Ridge
On the 20th of October Nadine and Shayne tied the knot at The Barn On The Ridge, a gorgeous rustic venue in Morton, NSW that has beautiful views of Pigeon House Mountain and Budaway Ranges. Cathryn Philpott officiated the marriage in a personal ceremony that was both relaxed and fun for the guests to enjoy. Having attended a lot of weddings it’s always nice to hear a celebrant speak from the heart, she did such a great job at capturing the love story of Shayne and Nadine. I loved getting to know this couple on their big day, their happiness was infectious and made my job easy. Congratulations to you both, you guys deserve it.

Tyla and Peter's Bewong River Retreat Wedding
On the 17th of October, Peter and Tyla tied the knot at Bewong River Retreat. They wanted a private venue on the NSW South Coast surrounded by picturesque forest and bushland. The couple said their I do’s overlooking the Bewong River and the day was one to remember, with a heartfelt first look and fun-filled reception. Congratulations to you both!

One of my recent projects was photographing a completed renovation by Sureline Building Group in Badgee. The owner worked with the builder to open up the back living space onto a new deck overlooking the view.

Nadeesh and Madhuka's Jasper's Berry Wedding
Like many couples getting married in 2020 Madhuka and Nadeesh were forced to make changes to their original plans. They officially tied the knot in May, but with Covid restrictions they couldn’t be joined by all of their friends and family.
On the 16th of October the couple celebrated their marriage at Jaspers with a traditional Buddhist ceremony. Not only do these two know how to throw together a last minute micro wedding, they also know how to host one hell of a party! Congratulations to two of the nicest people, you guys deserve every happiness!

I had the chance earlier in the month to photograph Kori and her kids at their holiday property Sol Mollymook. The aim of our mini session was to capture everyday moments beautifully. The portraits weren’t posed, just kids being kids, enjoying the property just like the guests would. I love in home sessions because they reflect real memories in spaces that are unique to you. With overseas travel off the table, there has been a big demand for holiday properties on the south coast. Last week I photographed Sol, a two storey coastal home in beautiful Mollymook. The first thing I noticed about this property was all the natural light. Sol has four bedrooms and two living spaces, making it the perfect place for families. Welcome to the world Airlie Wilson
Proud parents Logan and Lana welcomed their daughter Airlie into the world on the 22nd of October 2020. Since her arrival, this two week old baby has already made such a big impact on her parents lives. Never have they experienced a love like it. Congratulations, you are doing an incredible job guys.

South Coast Property Styling Retirement Village Project
Earlier this month I worked alongside the team at South Coast Property Styling to photograph one of their recent projects; the interior styling of Wallace Peak. The first stage of this newly completed retirement village contains independent living units with two bedrooms, generous living space as well as front and rear balcony access. It is located in Nowra, NSW and the units are now available for purchase.
